Recital Programs & Posters

Recital programs will no longer be printed, but will be distributed digitally. A pdf will be accessible from the University website and via QR code scan in the lobby of the Recital Hall. 

Complete the Recital Program Template and email it music@uleth.ca - Due 2 weeks before your recital date.

 

 

Collect your Information

Collect this information for the program:

  1. Front page
    • Type of recital (ie Junior or Graduation)
    • Names of participants and their instrument
    • Names of accompanists and their instrument
    • Name of faculty member with whom you study
  2. Body
    • List pieces being played and include:
      • Composer
      • Composer's year of birth/death
      • Movements (if any)
    • Who is performing the piece and their instrument
    • Program notes
  3. Optional (depends on recital details)
    • Translations

 

Design Templates

Here is a template for what your program should look like. You can be more creative if you choose -- just so long as the required information is included.

Size: 5.5 inches x 8.5 landscape.

Note: you need MS Word to open and use this document. If you don't have it at home, you can use computers in student labs.

Recital Program Cheat Sheet

 

Send your program to the Music Department to be made available in digital format. 

Note: programs must be submitted 2 weeks prior to your recital date.

  1. Email to: music@uleth.ca
  2. Enter "Recital Program" as the subject of the email
  3. Attach the document you created using the Recital Program Template.
  4. Attach the document you created using the Translations Template.
  5. Your studio teacher must proofread before you submit to make sure that all pertinent information is included and correct. If errors are found, your email will be returned, you will need to fix the errors, and resend the document before your program will be posted online.
  6. Send the email

Each recital poster must be approved by the Studio Coordinator. Please email a copy of the poster proof to the Studio Coordinator for approval.

Theatre Staff permits the posting of recital posters that comply with the prescribed format. Please include the University of Lethbridge logo:

  • University of Lethbridge
  • Faculty of Fine Arts
  • Department of Music presents
  • Student Name, Instrument
    • with
    • Your collaborator's name(s), instrument(s)
  • in a
  • Type of recital (Junior Recital; Graduation Recital)
  • Day, Date, Year, Time, Place
    • e.g. Friday, January 24, 2022, 8:00 p.m. University of Lethbridge Recital Hall
