Incoming Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI)
Program Information
The Globalink Research Internship (GRI) program offers fully-funded placements for international senior undergraduate students from select universities to perform research in Canada for 12 weeks over the summer.
Student participants contribute to research projects supervised by a University of Lethbridge faculty member in a variety of academic disciplines at campuses in both Lethbridge and Calgary.
GRI participants receive funding support from Mitacs for:
- Flights to Canada
- Transportation from Airport to Accommodation
- Stipend for Housing
- Health Insurance
- Allowance for Food and Incidentals

Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
If you are not able to make your scheduled appointment, we ask that you reschedule or cancel your booking using the link provided in your booking confirmation or by emailing us. We have limited time slots and would like to offer appointments to other students who may be available at that time.
Note: The time slots from 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. are reserved for incoming students currently in Asia to accommodate time differences.
