  • The Dean of the Dhillon School of Business will forward to the Dean of Graduate Studies a list of nominees to fill the vacancies in membership by May 1 to the Executive Committee of Graduate Council
  • Appointments are normally a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years, for staggered terms

Membership is comprised of:

  • Chair: Director, Dhillon School of Business Graduate Programs
  • Four1 faculty members who are jointly members of the School of Graduate Studies and the Dhillon School of Business
  • One member of the School of Graduate Studies who is not a member of the Dhillon School of Business
  • The Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (or designate), ex-officio and non-voting member

Areas of oversight:

  • Master of Science (Management)
  • Master of Arts (majors supervised in the Dhillon School of Business)
1 Membership structure approved by Graduate Council on June 16, 2021

  • The Dean of Arts & Science will forward to the Dean of Graduate Studies a list of nominees to fill the vacancies in membership by May 1 to the Executive Committee of Graduate Council
  • Appointments are normally a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years, for staggered terms
  • Program Committee Chairs are expected to serve in the role of past chair for one year immediately following their term as chair

Membership is comprised of:

  • Chair
  • Three faculty members who are jointly members of the School of Graduate Studies and the Faculty of Arts and Science
    • One of these members is the past chair of the committee
  • One member of the School of Graduate Studies who is not a member of the Faculty of Arts and Science
  • The Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (or designate), ex-officio and non-voting member

Areas of oversight:

  • Doctor of Philosophy (majors supervised in the Faculty of Arts and Science)

  • The Dean of Education will forward to the Dean of Graduate Studies a list of nominees to fill the vacancies in membership by May 1 to the Executive Committee of Graduate Council
  • Appointments are normally a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years, for staggered terms

Membership is comprised of:

  • Chair: Faculty of Education Associate Dean, Graduate Studies and Research
  • Three faculty members who are jointly members of the School of Graduate Studies and the Faculty of Education
  • One member of the School of Graduate Studies who is not a member of the Faculty of Education
  • The Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (or designate), ex-officio and non-voting member
  • If applicable, up to two representatives of relevant professional docies external to the University of Lethbridge, recommended by the Faculty of Education

Areas of oversight:

  • Master of Arts (majors supervised in the Faculty of Education)
  • Master of Counselling
  • Master of Education
  • Doctor of Philosophy (Education)

  • The Dean of Fine Arts will forward to the Dean of Graduate Studies a list of nominees to fill the vacancies in membership by May 1 to the Executive Committee of Graduate Council
  • Appointments are normally a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years, for staggered terms

Membersip is comprised of:

  • Chair: Faculty of Fine Arts Dean or designate
  • Four departmental representatives who are jointly a member of the School of Graduate Studies and the Faculty of Fine Arts:
    • Department of Art
    • Department of Drama
    • Department of Music
    • Department of New Media
  • One member of the School of Graduate Studies who is not a member of the Faculty of Fine Arts
  • The Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (or designate), ex-officio and non-voting member
  • If applicable, additional non-voting representatives or resource personnel recommended by the Faculty of Fine Arts

Areas of oversight:

  • Master of Arts (majors supervised in the Faculty of Fine Arts)
  • Master of Fine Arts
  • Master of Music

  • The Dean of Health Sciences will forward to the Dean of Graduate Studies a list of nominees to fill the vacancies in membership by May 1 to the Executive Committee of Graduate Council
  • Appointments are normally a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years, for staggered terms

​Membersip is comprised of:

  • Chair: Faculty of Health Sciences Associate Dean
  • Four faculty members who are jointly members of the School of Graduate Studies and the Faculty of Health Sciences
  • One member of the School of Graduate Studies who is not a member of the Faculty of Health Sciences
  • The Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (or designate), ex-officio and non-voting member

Areas of oversight:

  • Graduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Study of Addiction
  • Graduate Certificate in Epidemiology and Biostatistics
  • Graduate Certificate in Public Health Program and Policy Planning and Evaluation
  • Graduate Diploma in Addiction and Mental Health Pyschotherapy
  • Master of Nursing
  • Master of Science (majors supervised in the Faculty of Health Sciences)
  • Doctor of Philosophy (Population Studies in Health major supervised in the Faculty of Health Sciences).

  • The Dean of the Dhillon School of Business will forward to the Dean of Graduate Studies a list of nominees to fill the vacancies in membership by May 1 to the Executive Committee of Graduate Council
  • Appointments are normally a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years, for staggered terms

Membership is comprised of:

  • Chair: Director, Dhillon School of Business Graduate Programs
  • Two faculty members who are jointly members of the School of Graduate Studies and the Dhillon School of Business
  • Two faculty members who are jointly members of the School of Graduate Studies and the Faculty of Health Sciences
  • One faculty member who is a member of the School of Graduate Studies and who is not a member of either the Dhillon School of Business or the Faculty of Health Sciences
  • One external industry member
  • The Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (or designate), ex-officio and non-voting member

Areas of oversight:

  • Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management
  • Master of Health Services Management

  • The Dean of Arts & Science will forward to the Dean of Graduate Studies a list of nominees to fill the vacancies in membership by May 1 to the Executive Committee of Graduate Council
  • Appointments are normally a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years, for staggered terms
