Workshops/Conferences
Attending workshops and conferences can be time consuming and expensive in some cases, but they often yield some of the best results when it comes to recharging interest and passion towards teaching practice. This is most commonly a result of interacting with other people who are passionate about the area and who are doing interesting and innovative things in their professional practice. Sometimes this interaction serves to provide new focus, other times it helps to galvanize the work that is already being done. It is also often helpful to realize that you are not alone in your struggles and frustrations - there are others out there dealing with the same barriers and frustrations.
