David Hinger
Executive Director

As Director of the Teaching Centre my primary responsibility is the governance and administration of the department. This involves working at various levels within the institution to ensure the Centre is contributing to teaching excellence and is aligned with the strategic and department priorities of the University.

My position also allows me the opportunity to engage Scholarship of Teaching and Learning activities focused on improving teaching at the post secondary level. To date my research interests have included enhancing post secondary teaching, the impact of educational technology on teaching and student learning, and 21st century learning environments.

I’m also a proud alumni of the University of Lethbridge, completing a BFA (multimedia) in spring 2003 and a Master of Education degree in spring 2007.

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
