Evaluating and Reducing AI Risk

Image
Evaluating and Reducing AI Risk

These resources will help understand how AI can affect the validity, accuracy and reliability of your assessments, as well as help guide you in effective assessment redesign:

A short course to help guide you through identifying vulnerabilities in current assessment types and apply strategies to reduce them. Walk away with the skills to create AI-resistant assessments, make learning visible, and foster genuine student capability for your course's learning objectives.

Note, this course has been adapted by the University of Lethbridge Teaching Centre from the Assessment Redesign Course in the 2026 Assessment Redesign Framework by Dr. Hazell Farrell GenAI:N3 under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Redesigning Assessment for Authentic Learning in the AI Age

A companion course to both the Redesigning Assessment for Authentic Learning in the AI Age course and an in-person workshop offered by the Teaching Centre on how to use our AI Assessment Review Rubric  to evaluate outcomes alignment and AI risk of  an assessment and begin to re-design it!
