Possessing or using wired or wireless internet router jeopardizes the the integrity of the emergency response system. Please turn off and unplug your wireless printer when it is not in use.

Pets

The U of L has an Animal Policy that prohibits the presence of animals on campus, other than those designated by the Animal Care Committee.

There is an exception for fish: Single students can have a five-gallon fish tank. 

 
Furniture

Furniture Rooms are fully furnished, including hygienic, covered mattresses. All inventory of furniture must reside in your unit. Housing Services does not have the capacity to store additional furniture, and personal mattresses are not permitted.

 
Hazardous Materials

This includes any product that can cause damage to furniture, fixtures, walls, or floors

Personal Fridges Are not permitted in University Hall unless you have a doctor's certificate indicating that a fridge is necessary for medical purposes.  
Christmas Trees

Live Christmas trees are prohibited by Housing Services.

Small “fake” plastic Christmas trees are permissible provided they are plugged in only when someone is in attendance
