Co-operative Education is available to students who are registered in the Master of Arts, Master of Science, and Master of Science (Management) programs. The program works to create a partnership between students, the University, and the employer, and offers students an opportunity to learn, cultivate new skills, reflect, and develop professional experience.
Students can earn the co-op designation for their MA, MSc, and MSc (Mgmt) degrees by successfully completing a minimum of two four-month work terms (or one of eight months). A maximum of four semesters (16 months) of work terms may be completed. Please note that International students with a Co-op work permit are limited to two Co-op work terms, as they can only complete the number required to earn their Co-op designation.
