Bachelor of Arts - Art/Bachelor of Education
Focus your attention on studio art and art history/museum studies courses. This general program has fewer required art courses, and enables you to build around your diverse interests.
The five-year combined degree program allows you to graduate with two degrees. Studio courses introduce diverse materials and technical skills, while the focus of the Education degree takes place over three professional semesters, which provide practical experience through supervised placements in schools.
Students who are interested in teaching elementary school are encouraged to pursue the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education degree. The flexibility of this stream will allow students to gain a diversified set of qualifications which better meets the needs of multi-subject teaching common in elementary schools.
Know your calendar year
Remember that program requirements vary depending on the calendar year, which is usually the year of admission to uLethbridge. Therefore requirements may differ from year to year, even within the same major.

Minors
A minor is a good way to complement your major, have your interests in another subject area recognized on your official transcript, and expand your employment opportunities. It is an optional component of your degree program that requires a smaller number of courses to complete.
