Cancer SCN 2020/21 Innovation Pipeline Grant Competition.
This competition is aligned with Alberta Health Services’ Innovation Pipeline Framework, and invests in early stage innovation in cancer in three areas of focus that include:
1. Priorities in cancer identified through James Lind Alliance (JLA) Priority Setting Partnerships
2. Priorities in virtual care and support for patients with cancer
3. Priorities in appropriateness of cancer care and supports
The competition has two streams: performance gap identification, and proof-of-concept.
- Proof-of-concept projects will advance understanding about the efficacy and potential impact of identified solutions to health system challenges. Projects must be completed within 6-12 months, within a budget up to $75,000. Deadline for project proposal is February 16, 2021.
