The Alberta Real Estate Foundation funds initiatives that support and advance education, research, law reform, and other activities related to real estate across our three focus areas of Real Estate Leadership, Built Environment, and Land.
We have three pathways to receive funding:
- Sponsorship, up to $10,000
- Development Grants, up to $25,000
- Investment Grants, up to $250,000
The first step is to download and submit the Letter of Inquiry to our team at inquiries@aref.ab.ca. Our team will be in touch to further discuss your initiative.
Upcoming Investment Grant Deadline
The deadline to apply for our next round of Investment Grants is September 6, 2022 for a decision on October 17, 2022.
The first step is to submit a Letter of Inquiry to inquiries@aref.ab.ca. We recommend submitting your Letter of Inquiry three to four weeks in advance of the May 2 deadline. We will contact you to set up a call or a meeting. If your project meets the Foundation’s criteria, we will invite you to complete a full application for evaluation.
We accept Letters of Inquiry for Sponsorship and for Development Grants throughout the year.
