FAQ's
We encourage employers of all professional backgrounds and locations to engage with the system and our pool of talented students.
To learn more about the specifics of what the above entails, and what the university expects of its employer partners, please follow the link here.
100% of the university's student body is represented and present within the MyExperience platform, meaning employers can expect to find a broad array of eager professionals from across academic and personal backgrounds!
That being said, the students that most typically engage with the platform and its services are those that are "go-getters" and achieve highly in both their academic and professional lives. The sort of students that frequent the platform are among the most eager to participate with the professional world and are ready to demonstrate that they belong within your organization.
At the moment there is not strict limit on the amount of opportunities a single organization can post within the platform, although there are some checks and balances the Career Bridge team places to ensure that all jobs posted within the platform are of the highest quality for our students.
Jobs submitted are reviewed on a regular basis and only made available for regular student engagement once this due process has been completed. Please keep in mind that at certain times of the year this job function gets backed up and it may take several work days and coordination with the job poster to get this done. Please refrain from emailing us before a decision has been made on our end in this regard.
You can learn more about this process and of the Career Bridge Centre's expectations here.
No you do not. Most employers choose to coordinate this function directly with the candidate over email, but the option to manage and distribute interview times and dates with selected candidates through the MyExperience portal remains a possibility if the organization deems it beneficial to them.
We do ask that you make it known to us who the successful candidate was (if any) so that we can properly credit the individual student with the experience on their MyExperience Transcript.
Contact my.experience@uleth.ca if you have any questions or concerns.
