Silkscreen Printing: Exploring Silkscreen Monotype and creating with a Press

Join us for a day of artistic exploration and creation at our University of Lethbridge art studios!

Work with Art Department faculty member Katie Bruce to explore our printmaking art studio to create a unique print. Using a fine mesh screen, artists manipulate ink on the screen before transferring it to the printing surface! Students will work and create with our press equipment in a variety of media.

Students will also be able to enjoy a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of our art facilities, including seeing the back room of the U of L Art Gallery, and viewing some student exhibitions in our classroom gallery spaces.

Music Festival Performance Preparation Day!

Hosted by the Dept. of Music

We're excited that so many Festival performers will be joining us! At this point, the workshop is full and will not be able to take any more registrations.

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Join the faculty of the Music Department and showcase your preparation ahead of the Lethbridge and District Music and Speech Arts Festival!

Perform your selections and get feedback from our expert faculty, share your musical talents with other festival participants, and explore some of our amazing performance facilities in the Faculty of Fine Arts!

9:00 am - 12:00 pm - Jr. Piano Festival Classes
9:00 am - 12:00 pm - Sr. Piano Festival Classes
10:00 am - 12:00 pm - Brass and Woodwind Festival Classes
10:00 am - 12:00 pm - Jr. Voice (Classical and Musical Theatre Festival Classes)
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Refreshments for participants
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Sr. Voice (Classical and Musical Theatre Festival Classes)
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Composition Festival Classes
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Strings Festival Classes
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Sr. Piano Festival Classes

Be sure to indicate your Festival Class/Age as well as the musical selection you will be performing on our registration form!

Once you have completed the Registration form (below), you will see a submission page that includes link to complete a liability form to attend the workshop. If you are under the age of 18, please ensure that it is completed by your parent(s)/guardian(s). After completion of this liability form, we will be able to connect with you directly on information regarding the schedule of events, arrival and departure from campus information, and more!
