English for Academic Purposes Award Recipient: Precious Owusu-Ware
Precious Owusu-Ware, is one of the recipients of the Fall 2019 English for Academic Purposes Completion Award for her work in meeting the English Language proficiency requirements by completing the EAP program. Precious came to Canada from Ghana to pursue her Masters studies in French. Her instructors have no doubt that she possesses the skills to move forward with her educational plans at uLethbridge Angela Schindel, her EAP0140 instructor describes her as a dedicated students who accepts challenges with great enthusiasm and great attention to detail.
Precious feels that uLethbridge is an institution that is flooded with amazing opportunities and resources for current students and that joining the EAP program was the best decision she could have made as an international student. Her instructors acknowledge her strong academic background, and were impressed that Precious took the time she spent in the EAP program to immerse herself in learning about Canadian culture. Her love of learning will translate well into her journey into her Master of Arts program!
