Drawing & Foundation Studio Classrooms

Student drawing in studio

Location: W520, W869, W871

The Drawing and Foundation Studio Classrooms are shared between Foundations classes, Indigenous Art (Art Studio), and all levels of Drawing classes. Students have 24-hour access to the studio in which their class is held.

W869 and W871 share a large storage area with the Painting Studio (W817), which accommodates both portfolios and storage of 3D work, while W520 is furnished with flat files for storing 2D works and movable shelving for object storage.

For the purposes of critiques or other presentations of artwork, students or faculty may book one of the studio classrooms by speaking to the Facilities Manager, who will ensure the room is not in use during the requested time and post a notice of reservation. You must return the room to its original state including moving furniture back into place and painting walls if necessary, and any use must not conflict with regular scheduled classes. Please contact the Facilities Manager for details.
