How to Engage With Students
- Select your representatives intentionally. Consider bringing alumni and recent hires who can share about the recruitment process.
- Be approachable and create a welcoming environment. University students may be nervous or inexperienced at career fairs. Friendly, genuine interactions will help your organization stand out.
- Use student-friendly language. Avoid heavy corporate jargon - focus on what your company does, what roles are available, and how students can grow with you.
- Collect student information. Decide whether and how you'll gather their information. If so, how will you follow up?
Additional Resources
We offer the following free resources to help employers connect with talented students and alumni:

- Information Booth: Interactive spaces set up on campus where employers can showcase their company and engage directly with students.
- Interview Services: Exclusive sessions designed to facilitate face-to-face interactions between employers, students, and alumni.
