Symposium Details

The Science Commons will be the location Sept. 16, 2022 for the 15th Annual Chinook Symposium for Chemistry and Biochemistry, hosted by the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Lethbridge. The mandate of the symposium and associated poster prize is to recognize undergraduate and graduate students performing original research in chemistry and biochemistry.

Highlights include poster presentations from students at all levels (high school, undergrad, MSc, PhD, postdoc). Four oral presentations. judges from the U of L community. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the day.

The Chinook Symposium for Chemistry and Biochemistry is an exciting return to an in-person large-scale event to highlight excellence in research!

Symposium Information

All students who have participated in research in the Department are encouraged to participate. To particularly encourage junior students in their research endeavours, the Chinook Poster Prizes have been established at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Registration opens August 1 and closes September 5, 2022.
