University of Lethbridge CWIC
CWIC stands for Canadians Working for Inclusivity in the Chemical Sciences, Engineering and Technology. The University of Lethbridge CWIC club was established in 2021 after "Women in Chemistry" changed to "Canadians Working for Inclusivity in Chemistry" under the Chemical Institute of Canada. Today, the club aims to promote inclusivity and diversity in the Chemical Sciences and Technology fields by providing workshops, engagement opportunities and other events.
The UL–CWIC seeks to connect students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty and staff in the chemical sciences. The club goes by the moniker ACID:BASE which stands for Association of Chemists for Inclusivity and Diversity: Building Advocacy, Solidarity and Education.
Check out the ACID:BASE web page for more information and to see what events they have planned!
