CURIOUS. TENACIOUS. CREATIVE.

“Take full advantage of every opportunity offered to you! The University of Lethbridge is incredible in that you are provided with so many chances to engage with your instructors and professors. Get involved, whether that be with research, tutoring, clubs, volunteer work or athletics. Find what makes you shine and pursue it!”

Favourite Class: Ecology or Communication Écrite et Orale
Favourite Social Activity: Playing intramural sports!
Favourite Study Spot: The swimming pool viewing gallery

What makes my uLethbridge experience unique?

  • Research: I am a member of the U of L’s Research Internship Concentration (RIC) that has provided me with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience conducting undergraduate research within the biological sciences

  • Liberal Education: My experience as a TA for the Liberal Education 1000 class for the past two years has provided me with invaluable teaching experience. My love for sharing knowledge and liberal education has undoubtedly sprung from this opportunity

  • Job Opportunities: the U of L has provided me with many funding opportunities to conduct research and work with knowledgeable professors such as Dr. Elizabeth Schultz and Dr. Theresa Burg throughout the summers

  • Global Citizenship Cohort: In my first year of university, I participated in the U of L’s Global Citizenship Cohort. The cohort not only provided me with a chance to take on issues such as resource sustainability and social justice but enriched my leadership skills

  • Volunteer Work: I have served on the Lethbridge Youth Advisory (YAC) board for the past three years, where I have had the opportunity to represent and advocate for youth needs. Furthermore, Uvolunteer has helped me to get involved within the community as a U4 volunteer soccer coach

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
