HOW TO REGISTER
Registration Guide
You’ve made it! This is where your preparation pays off. In this section you’ll learn how to register for your courses and make changes, if necessary. Make sure to check your registration dates. The earlier you register, the greater your chances of getting the courses you want.
Don't forget to take a look at the new Plan Ahead feature and plan your registration ahead of time!
Search, Register, and Withdraw
You must first be logged into the Bridge to view your registration details. For the best user experience, please disable any ad-blocking plugin that you have enabled on these pages.
- Log into the Bridge.
- Click on the Bridge for Students link to be taken to the Student Dashboard, navigate to the Academic Essentials section, and select Class Registration and Schedule.
- Under the registration page select Register for classes, select the term and click continue.
- You have a few different options to search for the classes:
- Under the Find classes tab, select the search button, this will show ALL classes available or enter your specific search criteria.
- Under the Enter CRN tab, you can enter one or more CRN numbers directly and then the Add to summary button.
- The information will be displayed in a table format. To access more details, click on the course title, or the view selection button and more details will be revealed.
- When ready to add the class select the add button.
- The screen will divide into 3 separate panes:
- Find class – located at the top of the screen and shows a list of classes, use the green search again button to search again.
- Schedule – located in the bottom left corner, and consists of two tabs, Schedule tab will display the course information in a calendar view. The Schedule details tab will show more details regarding the course.
- Plan/Summary – will display in the bottom right corner of the screen, and will display your chosen classes.
- To confirm your registration choices, select the submit button located at the bottom on the right-hand side of the screen.
Additional Tips
- You can add notes by using the yellow post it notes icon located under the note column.
- The cog icon will allow you to deselect columns from each table within each window.
- Under the status column, the course will show Pending or Registered if the course has been saved.
- Under the action column, options to add or remove the course are available.
- To toggle between a selection of views select the panels button located on the bottom left-hand side of the screen.
- To resize the windows, you can drag and resize for better customization.
- You can create multiple plans for the same or different semesters.
