WITHDRAW FROM COURSES
Use the Bridge to withdraw from one or more of your courses following the extended drop deadline.
You will be assessed full fees for the courses in which you were registered. Keep in mind that if you withdraw from a course, you will receive a 'W' on your transcript.
How to Drop or Withdraw from a Class

Late Withdrawal (WL)
Late Withdrawal is granted only in the case of serious illness or other extenuating circumstances beyond the control of the student, which makes it impossible for the student to withdraw from courses prior to the withdrawal deadline. The grade designation for a late withdrawal is ‘WL’. For admitted students, the ‘WL’ is recorded only upon application to and approval from the Faculty or School advising office after the withdrawal deadline. Late withdrawal requests will not be accepted prior to the withdrawal deadline and will only be accepted until the extended drop deadline of the subsequent term. For Open Studies students, the ‘WL’ is recorded only upon application to and approval from Student Enrolment and Registrar Services (SEARS). Withdrawing from courses may effect registration for future terms. Courses that receive ‘WL’ will not meet prerequisites for subsequent courses. A student seeking Late Withdrawal means withdrawing from all the courses in that term.
