Whether for competition or fun, our sport and recreation facilities give people of all ages and abilities a place to get moving.

Fitness facilities

The Centre for Sport and Wellness features the Ascent Climbing Centre, Fitness Centre, triple gymnasium, indoor track and Max Bell Regional Aquatic Centre.

Ascent Climbing Centre

With 2,000 square feet of modular climbing and a large bouldering cave, the Ascent Climbing Centre offers day passes, beginner lessons, lead and rappelling courses, group bookings, birthday parties and youth programs.

Fitness Centre

With more than 8,400 square feet of space over two levels, the Fitness Centre is functional and user friendly for every level of fitness enthusiast! We have a variety of cardio equipment, cable and weight machines, free weights and platforms, and an area for stretching and functional movement.

Max Bell Regional Aquatic Centre

The Aquatic Centre features an Olympic-sized 50-metre pool, springboards, dive towers, variable depth pool and viewing gallery. The pool offers private swim lessons, lifeguard courses, mermaid camps, and more.

The triple gymnasium has 2 hardwood floors and 1 synthetic surface that are available for drop-in fitness and group bookings. The gym is bordered by a four lane 200-metre indoor running track.

A multi-use facility for Pronghorn Athletics training and competitions, as well as school and community sporting activities.

The ONE Pass

The ONE Pass membership grants you access to the entire Centre for Sport and Wellness facilities. Monthly passes (1, 2, 3, 4, and 8 month) or annual passes available.

10-visit pass

Not ready to commit to a membership? A 10-punch pass grants you access to the entire Centre for Sport and Wellness facilities.

Drop-in fitness

Just visiting for the day? Get a drop-in fitness pass to access all Centre for Sport and Wellness facilities and any drop-in fitness classes that day.
