2025 Summer Camps

S.T.E.M. Camps for those finishing Kindergarten to Grade 10!
2025 brings back some classic DE camps and introduces even more. We've added more camps and lowered camp sizes! A summer filled with new adventures for everyone. You can now find all the camps your child can sign up for in one place when you register since camps are grouped by grade brackets.

Names can help you narrow down which camps have the same activities and avoid repeat weeks, but don't be afraid to try something new because all of our camps are designed by the instructors to have robot/coding projects, building and design activities, and you're sure to do at least 1 chemistry experiment! (Yes, even in Robot Revolution, we've got you covered)

Orbit Adventurers and Universe Unlocked weeks are special Astronomy focused camps run in partnership with the Physics department and not camps you want to miss.

Our brand-new STEM Sprouts camp is here to bring a fun, hands-on activities to introduce your budding scientists to all parts of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math! Together we'll explore their curiosity of the world with slimey experiments, easy to use robots and all the materials to build magical worlds. Finally answering some of those endless questions of “why?”. While a specific theme is not yet set, the week will incorporate chemistry, robots and design challenges.

These weeks are open for those in Kindergarten

All of DE's Creators Camps (Cobalt, Gold, Iron and Zinc) will not have set themes until our amazing team of instructors begin their planning closer to the summer. But don't wait to register because spots fill quickly and these weeks will always have your campers 3D printing, in the lab for chemistry experiment, using our tech and robots to learn coding and of course using their imagination to build incredible designs as they learn about engineering!

Gold Weeks (W2 & W5): This camp is offered twice and programming, activities and schedule are the same both times. We suggest registering for only one to avoid repeating.

Iron Weeks (W3 & W7): This camp is offered twice and programming, activities and schedule are the same both times. We suggest registering for only one to avoid repeating.

Experience U

for those finishing grades 7-10

Go beyond the Outreach Facility and experience the University of Lethbridge and what STEM is all about. Explore campus, visit labs, do experiments and meet some of the people that are changing the world right here at home. Due to the camper ages and nature of this camp, afternoons will not be filled with the same rec time as the rest of DE campers, but may still go swimming once if the group decides. Rather additional programming will be planned for these times.
