Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Bachelor of Business Administration

Please note, effective July 1, 2025, the Bachelor of Management (BMgt) degree will change to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). Students applying to the business degree program for Winter 2025 will be admitted to the BMgt program. Students applying for Fall 2025 and later will be admitted to the BBA program. Questions? See our FAQ page to learn more about the BMgt to BBA transition.

The traditional Bachelor of Business Administration undergraduate degree (formerly the Bachelor of Management) is a 40-course program. It gives you a liberal education background combined with professional study in business and prepares you for a career in industry, education, government and more.

Pathways to getting your BBA also include the Post-Diploma BBA and BBA as a Second Degree.

Majors

A major is a specific set of courses you can specialize in within your degree. For a Bachelor of Business Administration or certificate program, a major must be selected at the time of application to the University. For combined degrees, two majors must be declared—one major for each degree sought. Not all majors are offered in all programs.

The Dhillon School of Business offers the following Bachelor of Business Administration majors:

Accounting

Finance

Marketing

General Management

Human Resource Management and Labour Relations

Global Business

Indigenous Governance and Business Management

Computer Science (Management)

Economics (Management)

Political Science (Management)

Minors

Once you have chosen your major, consider the option of working toward a secondary area of focus. A minor will let you explore more than one academic interest, enhance your resume and be recognized on your transcript.

Admission Requirements

Applicants may gain admission to the competitive Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program by meeting general and additional admission requirements. The fulfilment of the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission to this 40 course program.
