Diplomas are composed of a series of 20 required courses designed to provide a suitable combination of breadth and depth of knowledge in a specific area of study. Currently, the Dhillon School of Business is offering a diploma in finance.
The Dhillon School of Business diploma in finance provides elements of sound financial management, experiential learning in finance and tools needed to explore opportunities in finance, trading, investment, portfolio management, FinTech and risk management.
Admission Requirements
Admission to the diploma in finance is possible through the following admission routes:
- High school
- Six or more transfer courses
- A recognized college diploma in a non-Finance discipline
- A recognized undergraduate degree in a non-Finance discipline
- Non-matriculated/Mature adult admission (for applicants 21 years of age or older)
Note that Mathematics 30-1, Mathematics 30-2, Mathematics 0500, or equivalent is required for admission to the Finance Diploma. Applicants with a college diploma or previous undergraduate degree are considered to have met the Math admission requirement.
International applicants who possess a finance-related diploma or degree from a recognized institution will be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis and are not admissible without the prior approval of the Dhillon School of Business. The decision of the School will be final.
