Are you interested in free money? Many of our awards are granted through our general awards cycle, which requires only two applications while others require separate, direct applications. 

Make sure you apply for scholarships, awards and bursaries early!!
 

GRADE 11 MERIT AWARD

Apply by JUNE 30th of your Grade 11 year 

Our Grade 11 Merit Award is given to students who fill out our online form by June 30 in their Grade 11 year. It is a simple process — no essay or letters of recommendation necessary. Awards will be given to the highest achieving Grade 11 students based on your Grade 11 average.

How To Apply: Submit the online form before June 30th in your Grade 11 year. 
 

BOARD OF GOVERNOR'S ADMISSION SCHOLARSHIP

Apply by DECEMBER 15th of your Grade 12 year    

  • Our Board of Governors’ (BOG) Admission Scholarships reward students who apply early to uLethbridge. It may be combined with other uLethbridge awards, e.g., High School Entrance Awards and the Grade 11 Merit Award.
  • Apply for admission to the University of Lethbridge by December 15 to automatically be considered for the Board of Governors Admission Scholarship 
    • final admission average of 80% or higher

HIGH SCHOOL ENTRANCE AWARDS

Apply by MARCH 15th of your Grade 12 year   

Applications open in mid-January logon to the Bridge to apply for apply for our High School Entrance Awards.

  • Click on 'student' and then on "Apply for uLethbridge Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries".
  • Make sure to fill out the General, Undergraduate applications by March 15th and any other awards application presented to you.
  • The Scholarships and Student Finance office will review the applications and select eligible candidates.
  • Recipients will be notified by our office. Please check out our award FAQ's for more information.
     

TRANSFER AWARDS

Apply by JUNE 30th if you are transferring from another post-secondary institution. 

Applications open in mid-January logon to the Bridge to apply for apply for our Transfer Awards

  • Click on 'student' and then on "Apply for uLethbridge Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries".
  • Make sure to fill out the General, Undergraduate applications by March 15th and any other awards application presented to you.
  • The Scholarships and Student Finance office will review the applications and select eligible candidates.
  • Recipients will be notified by our office. Please check out our award FAQ's for more information.
     

All students should complete the General and Undergraduate Applications to be considered for the majority of ULeth awards.  We suggest students log in monthly to review any additional awards that may require direct applications.
