Meet the Presenter
James MacTavish is a Senior Advisor of Investor Education at the Alberta Securities Commission, where he leads initiatives designed to strengthen Albertans’ understanding of investing and empower them to recognize, avoid and report investment fraud. He oversees province-wide education campaigns that empower consumers with clear, unbiased information to make informed financial decisions.
Before joining the ASC, James spent nearly a decade in the fast-evolving technology sector, developing strategic communication programs and holding senior roles with global technology companies. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Calgary.
