Wavemakers: Build skills, make impact

Wavemakers is a free, virtual career-building program open to all post-secondary students in Canada. Through hands-on collaboration, mentorship and real-world problem solving, you’ll gain experience that supports your career goals – and contributes to global change.

Participants work in teams to design solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, connect with employer mentors and build future-proof skills in a flexible, online environment. Join from anywhere through an immersive online environment. Whether you’re looking to grow your network, boost your resume or explore meaningful work, Wavemakers offers a powerful launchpad.

New cohorts start every few weeks, with options for once-weekly or twice-weekly sessions. Choose the pace that fits your schedule and coursework.

  • Orientation (2 hours)
