What is the Career Kickstart Cohort (CKC)?

The CKC will help you make the most of your studies and career-building opportunities at uLethbridge. There are a number of milestones to achieve as a University student before reaching the ultimate goal of leveraging your studies and experiences into a fulfilling career. The CKC will start you on the right track.

Explore and integrate academic, personal and career development. By the time you graduate from uLethbridge, you’ll be ready for the new world of work.

You'll access career and professional development activities as well as experiential and work-integrated learning opportunities. Discover unknown skills and passions, define meaningful career options, and challenge yourself to explore new interests.

  1. Apply to live in residence at ulethbridge.ca/housing/onlineservices.
  2. There is a box on the Housing application for the Career Kickstart Cohort. Check the box on the Housing application to indicate your interest. Space is limited!
  3. Confirm the Offer of Admission for your program; you can do that online via the Bridge.
  4. Liaise with Housing Services and submit deposits.

Living in residence will also ensure a smooth and safe transition to university. As part of the CKC, you’ll have a built-in community that enhances academic performance and social success. You’ll make friends, find study partners, develop resilience, and fine-tune your interpersonal skills.

Studies show that students who live on campus are more likely to have a successful academic experience. You are steps away from classes, professors’ offices, student services, social and recreational space, study rooms, and academic programming.

The deadline to apply is April 15

New University students need to accept their Offer of Admission to the University of Lethbridge to take advantage of this opportunity.

Fees
Confirmation of Admission: $300
Housing application fee: $150 (application fee $50 and advance payment $100)
