The NSERC CREATE AMETHYST Program hosted its annual Workshop on Career Development and Workforce Preparation on February 7th and 14th, 2013, a two day event.

In the afternoon, invited guest speaker Mr. Richard Gorecki from TECTERRA gave a lecture on technology transfer and commercialization followed by a group discussion and question session.

On Feb. 14th, the UofL Writing Centre engaged the participants in a morning seminar. There were student presentations and a review of the work assigned on Feb 7th in the afternoon.
