Canadian Agri-Food Automation and Intelligence Network Competition (CAAIN)

This $10-million competition launched October 1, 2021. It will remain open for applications until October 22, 2021, and is available to any Canadian agri-food researchers and/or innovators seeking project funding and meeting CAAIN’s selection criteria.

Eligibility

• Project objectives must be consistent with those of CAAIN and of the ISED Strategic Innovation Fund Stream 4.
• The project team must include at least two small or medium enterprises (SME) incorpoated in Canada.
• At least two separate tentities of the poject team must contribute financially, investing at least 60% of the project's total eligibile supported expenses. CAAIN will reimburse up to a maximum of 40% of total eligible supported expenses.
