Our Domestic Recruitment Team

Hi! My name is Meagan, and I am the local recruiter. I went to ULethbridge and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I am an experienced recruitment officer; one of my favourite parts of my job is meeting amazing future students from all over Canada. Although I was born in Saskatchewan, I have spent most of my life in Lethbridge and I love it. You'll often catch me walking my dog, George, going to thrift stores, or just trying to keep all of my house plants alive.

Cybil

Hello, I'm Cybil! I am the Virtual and Eastern Canada recruiter. I am a proud alumni with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. Throughout my years as a student, I was involved in residence life projects and committees which gave me the opportunity to experience a very fulfilling student life and also discover the copious amount of resources that ULethbridge has offer. My favorite part of my jobs is being able to share the excitement that comes with students discovering their potential and guiding them on their own journey in the world of post-secondary. When I am on the road, I like to try a variety of different foods so be sure to throw me your best local recommendation next time I see you!

Cybil Cheung

Hi! My name is Hannah, I’m the graduate recruitment officer. I am passionate about engaging with students to help them achieve their goal of getting a Master's or PhD degree. I completed my bachelor's degree in Jamaica and my master's degree in Trinidad & Tobago. Having lived in three different countries, I have made Lethbridge my new home for the past couple of years. I am always down to explore and try new things in the city!

Beth Grier, Indigenous Student Recruitment Officer at the University of Lethbridge

Oki! My name is Beth, I am the Indigenous Student Recruitment Officer. I am a recent graduate from the University of Lethbridge with my Bachelor of Nursing Degree. I am Blackfoot from the Piikani Nation. My Blackfoot name is Sooyii Taa Pa Akii (Water Woman/Mermaid) . I am passionate about post-secondary education and encouraging students to take this time to learn more about themselves. I had such a wonderful university experience myself, I volunteered, mentored, and was on the Nursing Student Association for 2 terms. So don't be afraid to try new experiences and opportunities, you never know what could happen until you try. You'll often catch me with a fruity drink in hand, planning my next DIY project or planning my next trip!

Kit Zachery

Hi! My name is Kit, and I'm the recruitment officer for Saskatchewan. I originally received a Bachelor of Management in Human Resources and Labour Relations from ULethbridge, but I went back for an After Degree and received a Bachelor of Education (CTS: Business) afterwards. I taught for a couple of years, but now I'm excited to be a part of the ULethbridge recruitment team! I enjoy getting to speak with students about their plans, goals, and passions regarding post-secondary education, informing people about the opportunities that our university offers, and meeting diverse and unique people.

Kit Zachery

Callum

Hello my name is Callum and I am the Calgary area recruiter. I attended ULethbridge where I graduated with a degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations. I was born and raised in Lethbridge but have recently moved to the big city! In my free time I enjoy fly-fishing; in particular for steelhead in Northern British Columbia. In addition to my passion for fly-fishing I am a book worm and movie lover.

Hana Hubley, recruitment officer for Northern Alberta at the University of Lethbridge

Hello! My name is Hana, I’m the recruitment officer for Northern Alberta. I recently graduated from ULethbridge with a Bachelor of Music degree in Tuba Performance. As a student, I loved being involved in the arts scene both on and off campus through joining music ensembles, seeing live shows, and working for the ULethbridge Conservatory of Music and the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra. I love connecting with my community and chatting with future students to learn more about their passions and goals. In my free time I love listening to music, playing video games, and cooking up a storm in my kitchen!

Ryan Reese

Hello! My name is Ryan and I am the recruitment officer for British Columbia and the Northern Territories. I graduated from the University of Lethbridge in Drama Performance and have had the privilege of travelling all over Western Canada performing and teaching theatre skills. I love giving back to the community of Lethbridge with performing arts workshops for those in underserved populations and individuals with differing abilities, as well as showing future students what an education at ULethbridge can do for them. I am passionate about film and talking about how movies transport us!

Our International Recruitment Team

My name is Jason and I represent the university mainly in Western Africa and Southeast Asia. It has been a pleasure to meet people from around the world and it still surprises me that I have visited 25 countries in my professional and personal life. Living overseas has enriched my life in so many ways so I hope you are able to have your own unique experiences here in Canada.

International Recruitment Officer Sandra Langat

Hi! My name is Sandra. I am the International Recruitment Officer for our English Language Institute, East Asia, East Africa and the Americas. As an undergraduate student, I had the pleasure of studying abroad in Sheffield, England, and from then on my passion for travel, meeting new people, and engaging in international education only grew. After completing my Bachelors degree in Environmental and Conservation Science, I decided to take some time and ventured into teaching abroad. I had the pleasure of being an English as a Second Language teacher in South Korea for 4 years. I knew from then on, helping students achieve their goals was what I was meant to do. I am excited to help guide future uLethbridge students on their post-secondary and language learning journey.

Sandra Langat

I'm the in-country advisor for India, Bangladesh & Srilanka. As a former international student in the UK, I can definitely identify with what it means to travel to another country and explore academic options. I enjoy working with students and their parents, providing guidance to them about the post-secondary study options at ULethbridge. My favourite aspect about travelling is experiencing the new cultures and learning how people within those cultures celebrate and communicate.
