Archaeology Club

Image

The Archaeology Club is a group of students with a shared interest or passion in the human past. We welcome anybody from any program to join.

We host many different events on and off campus, including hikes, movie nights, social nights, and axe throwing. We also attend monthly meetings and lectures with the Archaeological Society of Alberta (ASA) - Lethbridge Centre, at the Lethbridge Public Library. Our club attends annual conferences such as the ASA Annual General Meeting and the Canadian Archaeological Association's (CAA) conferences.

If you would like to learn more about archaeology, or share your passion for the subject, we would love to have you! For more information please email uletharchaeologyclub@gmail.com and like our page on Facebook: University of Lethbridge Archaeology Club. You can also follow our Instagram @uletharchaeologyclub

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
