Family and Parent Zoom Sessions

Location: Virtual sessions will run from 6 - 8 p.m. every Tuesday in the month August.

Aug. 3rd 6 - 8 p.m. Funding 101
Parents and supporters of students may be concerned about student finance and the cost of your son or daughter attending university. Presenters Alanna Shockley, an Awards Advisor with the Scholarship and Student Finance office and Wheaton King, RBC On Campus Manager/Advisor, will take you through important dates and deadlines, services, and resources available to support your student’s financial wellness through university.  The session will have both Alanna and Wheaton present with an opportunity for questions and answers at the end.

Join our uLethbridge Housing team to learn more about uLethbridge's plans for a safe, healthy return to campus this fall. Learn about residence life, including amenities and support programs in place for fall!

The University of Lethbridge Students' Union (ULSU) serve as a voice for students on campus. Learn about the structure of the ULSU, the exciting programming in place to support your student this fall and all of the great services the ULSU provides. Services include Direct2U prescription and virtual doctor services, Health and Dental plan, UPass, Food Bank, Store and Food Court.

Aug.  31st 6 - 8 p.m. Transition to University
Hear from Dr. Shelly Wismath, Dean of the School of Liberal Education, and Jennifer Ellis Toddington, Manager of Counselling Services with information about how to best support your student's success and to ease the transition from high school to university for both of you!

Career Bridge: How your student can find success during and after their degree

Join Lukas Neamtu - WIL Programs Instructor & Coordinator, as he introduces you to the powerhouse line-up of services and programs Career Bridge offers. Whether it’s Co-op, Applied Studies, Career Services, or the Experiential Transcript, we have what your student needs to step outside of the classroom, gain skills and experience, and set themselves up for success upon graduation! It will be a 30 minute presentation followed by a 30 minute Q&A.
