Our faculty are active writers, researchers, and teachers. Their projects range from the poetry of "nothingness and failure" to masculinity and magic in Renaissance drama and SpongeBob SquarePants. From the figure of the child in Children's literature of the first world war and speculation in Victorian Literature to the earliest English poem and the mechanics of peer review.

Our faculty write for major international journals and magazines, such as The Nation and Times Literary Supplement. They play leading roles in scholarly organisations and institutes within the university, nationally, and internationally. Several have active graduate and funding programmes. We have a lab.

Below are but a few stories of work done by our members over the years.

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
