I was born and raised in:

Harbin, China. 

My alma mater is:

University of Alberta where I received a Ph.D. in Finance.

I completed my undergrad degree at Nankai University in Tianjin, China and then went to University of Alberta to do my Ph.D.

My research interests are:

Top management team decision making, ESG and sustainability, AI and firm strategy

I started working with the Dhillon School of Business in:

2014, after I moved back to Canada from Australia.

The best advice I have ever received is:

Follow your heart.

Book(s) I recommend and why:

"Smart But Scattered" by Peg Dawson and Richard Guare. This book was originally recommended to me by a friend, so that I could provide better support to my twin girls. I later realized that I myself could learn some useful strategies to improve my own executive function.
