About

I grew up in:

Tehran, Iran

My alma mater is:

Université Laval

I started working with the Dhillon School of Business in:

September 2017

My research interests include:

Agriculture sustainable supply chains, international trade and Price risk management.

I'm passionate about:

Travelling, lifelong learning, and advancing sustainable agriculture through research.

My biggest fear is:

Not spending enough time with the people who mater most.

If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life it would be:

Persian kebab with saffron rice

The best advice I have ever received is:

Never give up. Challenges are part of the journey, and persistence, patience and continuous effort are the key to achieving meaningful goals.

One thing I will never do again:

I will not build connections where there are no shared values.

A perfect day for me looks like:

Exploring a new place, experiencing a different culture, enjoying great food, and ending the day with good conversations.

Book(s) I would recommend and why:

"Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman. I recommend this book because it shows how our decisions are influenced by cognitive biases and how understanding human behaviour can help us make better choices in business and in life.
