Print from a Windows PC

For University owned (domain joined) Computers

A new printer and the Papercut Client should have already been pushed to your device from the IT department. Please look for the printer called "PC_Campus on anc-print2-p"

If you do not see this printer on your computer, you can add it directly using these steps:

  1. Right click on Start then choose "Run" on your computer
  2. Paste \\anc-print2-p\PC_Campus into the Run line
  3. Click OK
  4. A printer should begin installing on your computer
  5. Next, install the PaperCut client.
  6. Be sure the recently installed printer (PC_Campus on anc-print2-p) is selected when you print your document.
  7. Follow these instructions to release your job at a U of L printer: Retrieving your Document

For Personal Computers

To print from a PC we suggest using Web Printing to fulfil basic printing needs.

  • Please go here for instructions on how to use Web Printing: Web Printing

If more finishing features are desired (e.g., staples, hole punch, etc.) then you can follow these instructions to add the printer directly to your computer:

  1. Go to Download Print Deploy
  2. A file will immediately begin downloading, run the application after it finishes downloading.
  3. Choose Next, then Finish to complete the install.
  4. A sign in window should appear, ensure you log in with your U of L username (your U of L email without @uleth.ca, i.e. jane.doe) and your password.

  5. After signing in, a printer will automatically install onto your computer.

  6. Next, install the PaperCut client.
  7. After you are done installing the PaperCut client, you can print your document.
  8. Be sure the recently installed printer (PC_Campus on anc-print2-p) is selected when you print your document.
  9. Follow these instructions to release your job at a U of L printer: Retrieving your Document
