Counselling Services is pleased to offer workshops and training opportunities for our university community. We can address topics such as:

  • Dealing with Students in Distress
  • Responding to Sexual Violence
  • Suicide Awareness
  • Communication Skills
  • Personal Growth Topics
  • Positive Psychology
  • Stress Management/Self Care
  • Strengths Building
  • Time Management
  • Women and Mental Health
  • Violence Awareness & Prevention

To inquire about organizing any of the above, please email our Wellness Outreach Coordinator here. They will work with you to identify what type of presentation is needed and assist in coordinating it. If a counsellor is required to facilitate, we kindly ask for 4-6 weeks notice to schedule outreach events/trainings/presentations on campus.

We also offer formal and certifiable trainings on campus for little or no cost to registered students, staff, and faculty. Please see here.

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
