Kimoya Edwards
Hello, my name is Kimoya Edwards and I am a twice elected Vice President Academic for the ULSU. I recently graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, an Honor's Thesis and Co-Op designation. I was a Pronghorn Varsity Athlete in 60mH for five years earning National medals at both University and Canada-wide levels. A Co-Founder of Fostering Liberal Arts Research Excellence (FLARE), an Undergraduate Journal and Symposium, a prospective medical school student and a Director and Co-Founder for the not-for-profit organization Network of Black Women. My academic and non-academic journey at the UofL and in the ULSU has developed my commitment to amplifying student voices and strengthening academic experience for all students. My focus is on improving governance processes, supporting student wellness and equity initiatives, and creating opportunities that celebrate student achievement. I am a dedicated Jamaican-Canadian in ensuring all students feel supported, represented, and empowered throughout their academic journey.
