Cathy Gillespie

Cathy Gillespie graduated from the UofL in 1980 with a Bachelor of Management and, after starting her career in Calgary, moved back to Lethbridge in 1984. Cathy then began her career with the Government of Alberta, working in many financial positions. During this time she became a Certified Public Accountant. She retired in 2017 after many years in a Director of Finance position. Cathy has served in the past on the boards of a couple of local community organizations, and is currently on the board and in the position of Treasurer of her church. She highly values the University of Lethbridge and the opportunity to be a member of Senate. She is grateful for the wonderful education that she received 40 years ago and also, as a Lethbridge resident, thankful for the contribution that the UofL makes in so many ways to the quality and diversity of life in Lethbridge.
