Gyan Mankee
Analytical Scientist with experience in a government agriculture department supporting laboratory research and public-sector scientific programs. Dependable and detail-oriented, committed to analytical accuracy, careful data analysis, and communicating technical information clearly.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Lethbridge in 1978 and later completed a Diploma in General Agriculture through the University of Guelph, in collaboration with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food, in 1986.
I began my career in technical roles and, through continuous learning and growing responsibility, advanced to Analytical Scientist with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry. Over a nearly 39-year career, my work focused on analytical review, quality assurance, and the responsible use of scientific data to support environmentally sound agricultural practices and the protection of soil and water quality.
Throughout my career, I have valued opportunities to share knowledge, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a culture of learning, mentorship, and professional development.
