David Johnson - Alumni

David Johnson is originally from Edmonton where he graduated from MacEwan University. He then went on to earn his Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge, his Master of Business Administration degree at EDHEC Business School in France and is currently completing a Masters of Law at Osgoode Hall. David is currently the President of the Edmonton Construction Association. Prior to joining the ECA, David has held numerous senior management positions with the not-for-profit and financial services industries.

In terms of other volunteer work, David currently sits as a member of the Standards Panel at FP Canada. FP Canada is a national professional body working in the public interest that is dedicated to fostering better financial health for Canadians by certifying professional financial planners and leading the advancement of professional financial planning in Canada. David also holds his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation among other professional designations. Most recently, David completed a term as a member of the General Faculties Council at MacEwan University.
