Study Room Self-Service Guidelines

These guidelines support student success and equitable access to space.

  1. Students may book study rooms seven days a week, including holidays (except for the December holiday closure) and term breaks.
  2. Bookings can be made up to five minutes in advance of the desired time of the booking. Bookings may be modified or cancelled up to five minutes in advance of the start time of the booking.
  3. Study rooms may be booked up to 14 days in advance.
  4. Rooms may be booked for a minimum of 15 minutes to a maximum of three hours. Students may book study rooms up to a total of fifteen hours per week.
  5. By creating a self-service booking, students agree to abide by all applicable university policies.

*Please note, the Student Enrolment & Registrar Services (SEARS) office may modify or cancel bookings, if required, given priority of timetabled classes.

*Please note, ad hoc bookings in general classroom space for future terms are tentative. Timetabled classes get priority over classroom space, so we may contact you to reschedule your meeting location(s) and/or time(s). We cannot guarantee another room will be available at the originally requested time.

Are you a member of the University community requesting space for a non-University–related purpose or a member of the public? For consultation to help you find the perfect space, contact Conference & Event Services at 403-329-2244 or by e-mail (cnf@uleth.ca).

All ratified Students’ Union clubs will submit their room booking request using the Students' Union event proposal form.
