Why do you love living in Alberta?

Growing up in Brisbane, Australia, it was very hot and humid, and summer days went on and on. So, I love living in a cooler climate, where even on the coldest of days it is still possible to get outside and do something. And, being a little geographically isolated we don't have the masses of people of many large cities around the world. 

I am passionate about:

Toastmaster. I joined Toastmasters when I first immigrated to Canada because I wanted to become a stronger communicator and to build a professional a network as part of my job search. Twenty five years later, I am still involved because I think there is no greater gift that to help someone find their voice, so that can serve their world. Christensen, C. M., Allworth, J., & Dillon, K. (2012). "How will You Measure Your Life?" Harper Collins Publishers. I recommend this book because I believe it will get you thinking about getting you to think about how you would like to contribute to the world after you graduate. And, to inspire you to make it happen!
