Nominations for the Chartered Professional Accountants Education Foundation (CPAEF) Teaching Award for Accounting Instructors
Have you had an accounting instructor who excelled in some way during your time at the University of Lethbridge?
To encourage excellence in teaching, the CPAEF award annually recognizes an accounting instructor who has demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics:
- Innovation in course content, paper or web based course materials, cases or project work, or other significant course development.
- Consistently superior classroom performance and command of the subject matter.
- Attention to students' intellectual development, interest and enthusiasm for learning.
- Presentation of course content and examinations at an appropriate level of rigor.
- Excellent course planning, organization, communication and administration.
- Other contributions the nominator feels significant, such as connection of theory to business applications, attention to students outside of class, and providing a basis for students' success in later courses or in their careers.
As the 2023 and 2024 CPAEF Award winners Adam Zanoni and Sonya von Heyking are not eligible to be nominated this year.
Please take a few moments to nominate the University of Lethbridge instructor who you feel is worthy of this recognition.
