Who? This workshop is for students who are looking to cultivate more space for compassion and stillness in their lives. No previous experience of mindfulness or meditation is necessary.
What? This workshop series will offer practices to calm your heart, relax your body, and settle your mind. Students will also learn how to integrate practices of self-kindness and mindfulness into their daily life.
When? Every Monday (excluding holidays) from 9:00-9:50am until Dec 21, 2020 and is an on-going, drop-in format with a different experiential mindfulness/self-compassion practices offered each workshop. The workshop will commence again Jan 11- April 26th for the Spring 2021 term.
Where? The workshop will have a recurring zoom link that will be sent to those who are registered for the workshop.
Why? Mindfulness and self-compassion practices offer a foundational way in which to strengthen awareness, ease stress, and live from the heart. Cultivating inner resources and focusing on loving-kindness can offer a refuge of peace in challenging times. And, students can carry the tangible tools and sampling of resources that they learn in this workshop with them throughout their lives.
