Who? Any student wanting to experience self-discovery, development and self-care through artmaking and journaling
What? Stand alone monthly workshops exploring themes of identity, self-compassion and personal process. Art materials provided. Feel free to bring any extra supplies and your own personal journal/sketch book. No art making experience necessary.
Why? Art therapy workshops provide an alternate way to express feelings and thoughts, and an excellent opportunity to regulate and connect with others. Viewing images and forms concretely can help provide answers and further questions, and the process of “making” can be therapeutic in and of itself.
When? This workshop will be offered three times during the fall semester.
- Thursday, Sept. 28, 3-4:30 pm
- Thursday, Oct. 26, 3-4:30 pm
- Thursday, Nov. 30, 3-4:30 pm
This workshop is offered as a single session. You are welcome to attend on any of the days it is delivered. Register for one, two or three of the workshops!
Where? In person. Location to be confirmed upon registration.
