Classification & Compensation

Classification and Compensation Structure Review Project

In August 2023, the University initiated a Classification and Compensation Structure Review project for all non-academic employee groups. This project is being led by the Human Resources department, with external third-party support from Ernst & Young LLP (EY). This project is being undertaken to review and improve the current classification and compensation structures to ensure greater employment equity and consistency across all non-academic units.

In February 2024, all non-academic employees are expected to have completed and submitted a new job description, following the template and guidance provided in the information sessions, and submitted them to their respective managers.
