Working Parents & Caregivers

This page contains resources to support working parents and caregivers on campus, including child care services, on-campus parent rooms, and youth programs. Further resources will be added to this page as they become available. To suggest resources or information for this page, please email human.resources@uleth.ca.

On-Campus Daycare

The University of Lethbridge is proud to offer day care services, through a lease arrangement with University Kid's Campus Daycare Ltd., on our campus. The facility opened in January 2010 and has been a welcome addition to our campus to assist the University community with their day care needs.

The Day Care facility offers services to children aged 12 months - 6 years old and is conveniently located near the residence buildings in Aperture Park. Undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty members have first priority within the Day Care for available spaces. Should there not be sufficient demand within the first priority groups as outlined above, available spaces will be offered to second priority groups (AUPE, APO, ESS, and Senior Administration).

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
