About

Although trained as a physician, my interest and practice have always been in population level health promotion, prevention and early intervention, rather than clinical management of individual cases. I bring over 15 years of experience in health programs planning, management, evaluation and reporting with AHS, United Nations, non-governmental organizations and academic institutions, in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and North America.  

My goal is to support students in translation of academic learning to every-day public health practice in diverse settings. I graduated with a Medical Doctor Degree from the University of Belgrade in my native Serbia, and with the Master of Public Health Degree from University of Alberta.
